FOSTER GRANDPARENT PROGRAM

Are you 60 years of age or older?
Do you like working with children?

If you answered yes to these questions, the Foster Grandparent Program may be just for you!

The main goal of this program is to enable low- income persons aged 60 and over to remain physically and mentally active and to enhance their self-esteem through continued participation in needed community services. The seniors provide support to children/youth who need extra attention and encouragement in daycare, school, headstart, and other settings

Our program offers:

• A small stipend payment
• Sick, vacation, and personal time
• Community involvement
• Senior/Child relationship
• Insurance to, from and during work hours
